Lynn E. Hohensee has served as the port director for the West Calcasieu Port since June 2006. He also owns and operates LEH Communications, LLC, a communications consulting company in Lake Charles, La.
 
A 1971 graduate of South Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism/geography (double major), he served as Executive Director of The Chamber Foundation/Southwest Louisiana in Lake Charles, La., prior to opening his business in August 2005. He joined The Chamber/Southwest Louisiana in June 2003 as the Director of Economic Development & Investor Relations for the Chamber/Southwest Louisiana.In February 2003, Hohensee retired from ConocoPhillips (formerly Conoco) after 22 years of service. In his final position with ConocoPhillips, he served as the regional director-public relations for company's Gulf Coast Business Unit headquartered in Lake Charles. Prior to joining Conoco, he held corporate communications/community relations positions for Shell Oil Company in Louisiana and Texas. Paralleling his civilian corporate communications career, Hohensee pursued a 28-year public affairs career in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserve. He retired as lieutenant colonel in 1999.  He and his wife, Marie, live in Moss Bluff.

Glen James, Attorney
 
Glen James serves as port attorney for the West Calcasieu Port, a position he has held since 1970. A practicing attorney for 39 years, James, 66, owns and operates a law firm in Sulphur. A 1964 graduate of Texas A&M University, James received his law degree from Louisiana State University and admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in 1969. He served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserve for 13 years and served one tour in Vietnam. He is a former city attorney for the City of Sulphur and sat on the board of the Chennault Industrial Park in Lake Charles for 11 years.
 
He and his wife, Darlene, reside in Sulphur and have five children and three grandchildren.

Darla Perry, CPA
 
Darla Perry serves as the Certified Public Accountant for the West Calcasieu Port, a position she has held since 1998. Perry has been a practicing CPA since 1975 and owns and operates Perry & Company CPA's, APC in Sulphur. She graduated from Sulphur High School (valedictorian) in 1972. She earned a B.S. degree in accounting from McNeese State University in 1975. She received her CPA state certification from the Louisiana State Board of CPAs in 1976. She is a member of the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Lake Charles Chapter of Certified Public Accountants. She has been named the Honorary Secretary of State of Louisiana.
 
Perry and her husband Danny reside in the Sulphur area and have three daughters and four grandchildren.

Chuck Stutes, Engineer
 
Chuck Stutes with Meyer & Associates, Inc.serves as Port Engineer for the West Calcasieu Port. He was appointed to the board in June 2006. A graduate of Lake Charles High School, Stutes received a B.S. degree in civil engineering from McNeese State University. He is employed as Project Engineer/Project Manager for Meyer & Associates, where he has worked for 28 years. A Certified Professional Civil and Environmental Engineer in the State of Louisiana, he is a member of the Louisiana Engineering Society and the National Society for Professional Engineers. Stutes' engineering background includes the design of potable water systems, site civil development and marine infrastructure. His professional experience with potable water systems includes design including water wells, treatment plants, storage tanks and distribution systems. Stutes' on-site civil projects include earthwork, railroads, roads, water/sewer service and drainage. His marine projects include the design of bulk terminals, ship loaders and conveyors, warehouses, docks, retaining walls and dredging.
 
He and his wife, Kathy, have two children and five grandchildren and reside in Lake Charles.
